After graduating with a degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania, Lindsey was awarded a fellowship from the Spanish Ministry of Education to teach English in Madrid. She then took a position teaching academic English skills at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey. After teaching English writing and speaking for two years abroad, Lindsey returned to the U.S. and earned a master’s degree from Brown University in English Education.
Lindsey spent five years as an English teacher in elite American private schools. Lindsey is an expert educator with a very special talent for bringing out the best in students’ writing. Her passion for college counseling is also driven by her love for mentoring students who are willing to go outside of their comfort zones and approach challenges that will lead them to be their best selves—and cultivating meaningful experiences is half the battle to writing a compelling essay!
